Plantation shutters are installed in the dining room and living room big front windows. I need to work on making the slats open evenly!

Landscaping begins!

Backyard is almost done!

Moving in next week- the yard is getting done now..... new driveway, new yard, connect to the storm drain and out with the old bushes. Thank GOD we did not do this on our own!

Driveway is now gone--- making it a double

Side yard-- everything gone!
Lawn is GONE!
Backyard-- bushes and lawn are removed

Digging the back yard to connect to the town storm drain. Mike was thinking we could do this one on our own...ummmm- not so much!

Almost there!!!

We have been moving and moving and moving! A bit of a pain for now but will be nice when we get in and do not have a ton of boxes to unpack. The plantation shutters and shades are being installed on the 1st floor next week and we just bought Grace a new bed on Craigslist that should be in her room soon. The runner on the stairs was put in yesterday, which is great because they are SO steep. See below. Will continue to update as we get closer. Just 2.5 more weeks. Thank God for maternity leave. Poor Maggie gets dragged down there every day!

The living room is coming together. These are the couches but they came with the wrong pipping so we are expecting the correct ones soon.

Last, but not least- the heavenly closet is almost full!!!

Coming Together

Maggie put together the stools! They are really cute. She also painted the pantry, so we can start bringing stuff over. Brother Casey will be back on Wednesday to finish the final painting and we are ready for cleaners! Landscapers come today to take out HUGE stumps from ground around the house. Should start to look a little better outside shortly! Pics to come.

Finally put back on all the plates to the outlets....annoying job

Set of shelves off our bedroom for extra linens. They were painted so we brought some stuff over!

Gracie's room all painted!

Our bedroom painted. Difficult to see color...kind of a silverish. Maggie and I put together the furniture. Nothing like being 9 months pregnant and setting up a bedroom set :)

Uncle Casey painting away!!! It looks great :) Downstairs is done. Moving up the stairs and hallway tomorrow.

The corner "mudroom" and downstairs bathroom are a darker blue. I love the color. Create a little breakup downstairs as it is such an open layout. This color looks bluer in the pics than in person.

The counters are in and almost all appliances!

Difficult to see, but the kitchen is done. The microwave needs to get installed above the stove, but other than that- we are good there. We love the new counters!

The pantry!! We did not do a ton of cabinets because we wanted and open living space, so this pantry will be a great help in storing dishes and food!

The monster closet has shelves!!! Now, let's just hope that Mike keeps his 1/2 clean!
